Her Story
Thelma Lena Marshall was born May 24,1966 to the parentage of Odessa Lois and Elbert Milton Marshall in Fort Worth Texas. She was the 5th child of this union. Thelma attended Fort Worth Public Schools and at an early age accepted Christ and was a member of Grace Temple SDA Church.
Thelma was affectionally known as "Sister". She loved being outside. On a beautiful day you could find her outside working in her yard. She also loved to cook. Always trying new recipes. Mexican food was her favorite especially Tamales and Enchiladas. She had a gift of Entrepreneurship. She was the Founder and Owner of Thelma's Play House, Thelma Maid Service and Lawn Care. When Vincent first laid eyes on Thelma he said, "That's my wife". They married on February 18,1989. They shared 36 years of marriage and in this union their household was always blessed with the love of children. Sister is preceded in death by both parents, Milton and Lois Marshall, sister Velvet Lois Marshall and nephew LaTerrance Deonta Bowie.
Those left to cherish her memories her husband: Vincent Eric Releford, Daughter :LaVonda Shavon Marshall, Chelsea Shantel Marshall and Alyah Destinee Jackson and son Aleq' Danielle Jackson; Grandchildren: Breana Tatyana Neal, Xavius Kentrel Neal, Kameon Latrel Neal and Aleq Demar Holmes; Sisters: Brenda Marshall-James, Gloria Jean Marshall, Patricia Ann Marshall and Denise Marie Bradley (Tronnie). Brothers: Milton Earl Marshall (Kathleen), Gary Wayne Marshall (Shannon) and Gregory Tyrone Marshall (Megan). Special friends Kisha Thomas and Peggy Jackson. Nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and a host of love ones that were so dear to her heart.
