Obituary for Tareshimekia Covell Anderson
February 14, 1974 – November 2, 2025
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” – Matthew 25:23
Tareshimekia Covell Anderson, age 51, peacefully answered her Master’s call on November 2, 2025, transitioning from labor to reward. She was born on February 14, 1974, to the late Harvey Paul Bass Sr. and Dianna Lynn Wilson, and was lovingly nurtured by her bonus father, Lonzo Johnson Jr. and Diana Johnson.
A proud graduate of Cassata Catholic High School, Class of 1992, Tareshimekia later attended Tarrant County College, where she pursued her passion for business.
Tareshimekia’s life was one filled with love, laughter, and faith. She cherished spending time with her family, enjoyed reading, traveling, and loved animals, and could always be found enjoying a trip to the casino, bingo, or attending a play. Her joyful spirit and warm presence brought happiness to everyone around her.
She was a lifelong and devoted member of Grace Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church, a congregation dear to her heart and family legacy. Grace Temple was founded in the living room of her great-grandmother, Covell Anderson, and Tareshimekia remained a faithful member for over 50 years, serving as part of the pioneer family who helped establish its foundation of faith.
Tareshimekia is now reunited in glory with her beloved grandmother, Zephaniah Wilson, grandfather Morris Wilson, and father Harvey Paul Bass Sr..
She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, KimPatrick Anderson; her loving mother, Dianna Wilson; sister Kharneesheia Wilson; brother Harvey P. Bass II and bonus brother Kenneth Wright Jr.; bonus parents Lonzo Johnson Jr. and Diana Johnson; her bonus children Tevin Lusk, LaToria Anderson, and Duran Houston, grandmother Jomae Nance Bailey, and a host of cousins, other relatives, church family, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Her light will continue to shine in all the lives she touched — a reflection of the love, faith, and joy she shared so freely.
