Ruby Marie Manning was born to the parents of Mr. MJ Pickens and Ms. Carrie Lee Manning on January 4, 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Ruby accepted Christ at 16 years old. She loved the Lord and proclaimed Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
Ruby attended Fort Worth ISD during her educational years and later received her GED in 1977.
She receive her switchboard license in 1978. She worked for volunteers of America for eight years, then moved in the healthcare field with Calab Inc in 1992 during her time with the company her clients became family.during the holidays we could find her clients eating alongside of her and the family. Her passion for helping and loving on others could be seen through her work with Calab Inc. she later medically retired in 2005.
She married Mack Clint Solomon in 1975. He later passed away in 1992.
Some of her favorite past time activities was playing bingo the casino and watching scary movies. However, her favorite thing to do was spend time with her grand kids. She was affectionally called. MawMaw bye her babies her love for them ran so deep that her kids would joke and say she loved the grandkids more than she love us.
Ruby left her earthly home and walked into her heavenly home on December 26, 2024. Those awaiting her to greet her with a smile and say welcome home her husband, Mack Solomon, son Frederick D Manning, father, MJ Pickens brother major Applejack Manning and nephew Casey D Manning.
Left in the caring hands of God are her daughter Roquinta Manning (Bobby Wallace ), Mother Carrie Lee Manning ,siblings: Belzie (BT) Manning and Janice Manning, her grandkids Bobby C Wallace Jr, Carrie Wallace, Ja’Necia Wallace and Danny Dorsey, and her great grand children Skyler Course,Eugene Robinson,Danny Dorsey lll and Ayden Dorsey and her special Aunt, Clara, Manning, and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
