In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Lacy
September 27, 1954 – December 11, 2024
Patricia Ann “Pat” Lacy, a devoted sister, aunt, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, at the age of 70. Pat’s life was a testament to boundless love, unwavering devotion, and selflessness, especially in her role as a caregiver and provider to her family.
Born and raised in San Angelo, Texas, Pat was the sixth of eleven siblings. When life presented challenges, Pat stepped into the role of provider without hesitation. Her strength, wisdom, and nurturing spirit formed the backbone of her family’s bond. She ensured her siblings were surrounded by support and love, always putting their needs above her own.
In her early 20s, Pat relocated to California, where she built a successful career as a fire alarm inspector, dedicating over 40 years to her profession. Whether at work or at home, Pat’s compassion and care extended to everyone around her. She was a pillar of strength, always offering comfort, guidance, and encouragement to those in her life.
Pat was a lover of sports, a true fan who cheered—and often yelled—at her beloved Dallas Cowboys. Her passion for athletics extended to all sports, professional or collegiate, and she prided herself on knowing the stats of teams and players alike. Pat also had a talent for bringing people together at family gatherings, always preparing her signature “Pat’s Perfect Punch” to share with loved ones.
An avid animal lover, Pat adored her cat Tooter, her loyal companion for over 10 years. In her free time, she gave back to the community through volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community. She was passionate about supporting those struggling to embrace their identities, living her own life as an example of authenticity, courage, and unwavering dedication to being true to herself.
Pat’s quiet acts of kindness, fierce loyalty, and loving presence left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
