Otis Crump, age 79, of Mansfield, Louisiana, was born on November 22, 1947, to the late Daniel Crump and Mattie Mims. Otis lived a life filled with faith, love, and unwavering devotion to family and Military service.

He accepted Christ at an early age at Springhill Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Pleas Turner, laying the foundation for a lifetime of Christian living. Otis was a proud graduate of All Saints High School, after which he honorably served in the United States Army for over five years.

Following his service, he made Fort Worth, Texas, his home, where he discovered his passion for construction. For over 50 years, Otis worked diligently in the field, building not only physical structures but a reputation for excellence and integrity.

Otis loved spending time with his family and was especially fond of friendly games of dominoes, where laughter and connection came easily. A faithful servant of the Lord, he served as a deacon for over 10 years at New Galilea Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Michael Dennis.

On June 24, 2025, Otis peacefully entered eternal rest. He now joins in glory his parents, wife Alice Faye Evans Crump ,beloved sisters Betty and Myrtis who preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his children, Patrick Booker (Erica) and Shelia Watson (Antwoine); siblings Roy Crump (Pearl), George Crump Sr. (Ruby), Helen Crump, and Carol Crump; five adored grandchildren;  1 great grandchildren and his friend and companion Sandra Hammon. He was a beloved bonus father to Candice Hammon, Terrance Hammon, and Dewayne Hammon, and he leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.

Otis Crump will be remembered for his humble spirit, hard work, and the love he so freely gave to others. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy of faith and family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
