Lottie Williams

In the year of 1946, on January 12, was the sunrise of Lottie L. Moore. She was born to the late Jimmy Lee and Ocie Lee Moore in Smith County, Tyler, Texas.

 She attended school and graduated from Emmett Scott High School from 1963–1966. From 1966–1968, she attended and graduated from Texas College, also in Tyler, earning an associate degree. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Flint C.O.G.I.C. in Tyler, TX. Shortly after college, she moved to Fort Worth, TX. Her first marriage was to Joe Ruffin in 1969. In this marriage, a daughter was born, Denise Ruffin. In 1979, she married again to Thadus Williams Sr. To this marriage, a son was born, Torey Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Ocie Lee Moore, and four sisters, all of whom are deceased: Shirley Ann Duncan, Dora Barlow, Nancy Tucy, and Patricia Williams. She leaves in mourning two children, Denise Ruffin and Torey Williams, and the widow of Thadus Williams Sr and host of other relatives and friends
