Life Story Of Freddy Minter
Freddy Minter entered this world on December 31,1953, to the parentage of Isaiah Minter and Bernice Morehouse in the city of Lake Providence, Louisiana.
He was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School District. He graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar class of 1971. While there he loved to lead the chant “I’ll be a wildcat who be you – I’ll be a Wildcat tooooooooo!!!!!!!!!.
Freddy at an early age accepted Christ as his personal savior while attending his home church Rose Hill Baptist Church in Lake Providence, Louisiana.
Freddy enjoyed cooking, playing cards and spending time with his family. During his lifetime he had three wonderful children whom loved dearly. He worked at Four winds Restaurant as the Lead chef. He latermoved on and started his own Landscaping company where he had several commercial and residential accounts.
On January 8, 2025, in the early morning hours Freddy heard the Master call from labor to reward. Awaiting his glorious arrival are his father: Isaiah Minter, siblings: Wayne Davis, Frank Minter and Zonia Minter.
Kept in the unfailing hands of the Almighty are DeAundra Eddie ( Demeteria) Freddy Minter Jr. ( Latoya) and LaKeshia Minter; mother Bernice Minter; Grandchilden: DeAndrea Eddie , Kyron Minter , Katelyn Johnson, Kiara Minter, Kaliyah Minter, Erika Johnson and ShaKeria Robinson; Sibling: James Minter ( Deborah) Fenton Minter, Albert Minter ( Tonya) , Bobbie Ware, Jacquline Wesson and Shelia Minter;; 6 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
