Debora Levingston

Debora Levingston, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this life on May 15, 2025, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas, to the proud parents James Johnson and Pearl Estell Johnson. Debora was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her, full of love, laughter, and unwavering faith.

Debora was educated in the Fort Worth Independent School District and graduated from Eastern Hills High School. Throughout her life, she held various positions, dedicating her time and talents to workplaces such as Edmondson’s Chicken, Eastside Car Wash, an Electronics Store, and Wal-Mart. No matter the role, she gave her best with a cheerful spirit and a heart for service.

A devoted believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, Debora was a faithful member of First Riverside Baptist Church. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and comforting her soul.

Debora had a passion for life and a love for simple joys—fishing, playing cards, shooting pool, singing, and most of all, spending quality time with her family. Her laughter and warmth made every gathering special, and her voice—both in song and in spirit—will echo in the hearts of those she loved.

Though Debora has heard the Master’s call May 15, 2025 surround by her loving family and entered eternal rest, her legacy of faith, love, and family will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Left in the caring hands of God are her loving husband, Billy Levingston Sr.; her devoted children, DuJuan Johnson (Veronica), ShayKoyia Johnson, Deshunda Levingston (Shantel), and Billy Levingston Jr. (Rafael); her cherished siblings, sister Adrienne Terrell (Kevin) and brother James Johnson (Bridget); and a host of dear relatives, extended family, and treasured friends.
