Rhodes
February 21, 1955 – May 29, 2026
In Loving Memory of Bobbie Jean Rhodes
Bobbie Jean Rhodes was born on February 21, 1955, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to the late Clance and Alberta Rhodes. She was a proud graduate of Nacogdoches High School, Class of 1973. Bobbie dedicated many years of service to Alcon, where she was known for her strong work ethic, dedication, and commitment.
Bobbie was known for her vibrant spirit, warm heart, and outgoing personality. She never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel welcome. She brought joy and laughter wherever she went and cherished the time she spent with family and friends.
Bobbie found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved cooking for those she loved and took great pride in preparing meals that brought family and friends together. She also enjoyed the thrill of finding a great bargain and could never pass up a good garage sale. Whether she was sharing a home-cooked meal, hunting for treasures, or spending time with loved ones, Bobbie created lasting memories with everyone around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clance and Alberta Rhodes; her sisters, Mollie Bolden, Gloria Sharp, Helen Richardson, and Patsy Hall; and her brother, Jerry Rhodes.
Bobbie leaves to cherish her memory her son, Delvin Cummings; her beloved grandson ,Delvin Daunte Cummings; her daughter-in-love, Lowetesa Rodgers; brother in law, Ted Sharp Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whom she loved deeply and who will miss her tremendously.
Though her presence will be greatly missed, her love, laughter, generosity, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy lives on through the family and friends she cherished so dearly.
