Alonzo Harris entered this world on October 6, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas, to the loving parents Charles Organ and Eula Marsh.
He received his education through the Fort Worth Independent School District and was a part of the graduating class of 1983 at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, where his vibrant spirit shone through. One of his favorite moments was leading his peers in the school's chant: “I’ll be a Wildcat, who be you? I’ll be a Wildcat tooooooooo!”
At an early age, Alonzo accepted Christ as his personal Savior, establishing a foundation of faith that guided him throughout his life. Known for his infectious personality, Alonzo brought joy and energy to every space he entered, leaving those around him with cherished memories of laughter and love.
Family was at the heart of Alonzo’s life, and he found immense joy in spending time with loved ones. As a devoted father to his son, Jacobi Jackson, Alonzo’s love knew no bounds. He also found peace and fulfillment in tending to his garden, nurturing life with the same care and dedication he showed to those around him.
On January 13, 2025, Alonzo answered the Master’s call, transitioning from labor to eternal rest. He leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and joyous memories.
He is lovingly survived by his son, Jacobi Jackson (Naila); his beloved mother, Eula Harris-Marsh; his father, Charles Organ; his cherished grandchildren, Jakyri Jackson and Kahlil Jackson; his siblings, Michael Harris (Tammy), Tracie Carter (Christopher), Trenton Harris, Derrick Organ and Mia Organ-Smith (Meryl). He is also remembered with love by his partner in life, Felicia Green, her children and grandchildren; Nieces, Katheryn Thompson (Ekeyco), Phalicea Mathis (Michael), Victoria Clark, Annah Clark, Hannah Harris, Sydnie Harris; and a list of other relatives, extended family, and friends.
While Alonzo’s presence will be deeply missed, his light, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
